On Friday (June 27), rising country star Elle Sloan released her debut EP, What’s Best For Me. The six-song collection follows a series of big breaks early in the career of the 22-year-old singer-songwriter, including being featured on the cover of TIDAL’s Country Rising. Sloan was raised in Phoenix, and now resides in Nashville, and has a voice reminiscent of Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves. Sloan recently sold-out a hometown show at Last Exit Live in Phoenix, with more live dates expected to be announced soon. The EP’s title track and “Heartbreak in Houston” showcase Sloan’s ability to convey powerful narratives with authenticity, while “If He Really Meant It” unveils emotional complexities with understated poignancy. Sloan’s work reflects a deep, unapologetic exploration of self-discovery, marking her as an essential new voice in modern country music. (All Country News)
